Indexes
In this option, the information about update indexes is registered, to be used as indexers to GRPS, FGTS, IT, correction of contributions, old salary differences, values for average, commissions, alimony, issuing reports in other currencies, etc.
Indexes
Examples of indexers: Ufir, Itrd, Selic ...
Below is an explanation on how to get to the corrected value, which is demonstrated in the accumulated window:
The correction of the following example will be by the first day of the month, and the index is a percentage.
| Period | Value | Corrected | Percentage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4/1999 | 80 | 83.24 | 1.20 |
| 5/1999 | 100 | 102.82 | 1.30 |
| 6/1999 | 200 | 203 | 1.50 |
| 7/1999 | 85 | 85 | - |
Calculation
6/1999 = 1.50% * = 200 203
5/1999 = 1.50 * 1.30% = 0.02 = 1.5 + 1.3 + 0.02 = 2.82%
Then, 100 * 2.82% = 102.82
4/1999 = 2.82 * 1.20% = 0.0338 = 2.82 + 1.20 + 0.0338 = 4.0538
Then, * 4.0538% = 80 83.24
Month 7/1999 does not adjust, because the correction begins after 30 days. The last month is always without correction.
For example: Ufir, Tr, Dollar ...
For currency conversion, the following functions are available:
- FunctionRetValorMoeda
- FunctionRetValorEmpresaMoeda.
It allows the indexers be informed in two different ways.
| To | The index is already accumulated |
| P | The index is monthly percentage |
| (F) | The index is in fixed percentage |
| D | The index is daily quotation |
| M | The index is in monthly quotation |
Important
If an index value of zero is registered, it will only be considered if the Type Index is equal to "0 - Other" and the Type of information equal to "F - Fixed Percentage". If it is not, the value of the previous index will be considered.
- When the field Type Information is "F - Fixed Percentage" and any value in the field Type Index
(Display by the accumulated query)
Correction for the first day of the month, the index being a percentage:
| Period | Original value | Corrected value | Percentage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4/1999 | 80 | 80.83 | 1.20 |
| 5/1999 | 100 | 102.82 | 1.30 |
| 6/1999 | 200 | 203 | 1.50 |
| 7/1999 | 85 | 85 |
Calculation:
06/1999 => 200.00 * 1.50% = 203.00
05/1999 => 1.50 * 1.30% = 0.02 => 1.5 + 1.3 + 0.02 = 2.82%
Then: 100.00 * 2.82% = 102.82
04/1999 => 2.82 * 1.20% = 0.0338 => 2.82 + 1.20 + 0.0338 = 4.0538
Then: 80.00 * 4.0538% = 83.24
The 07/1999 jurisdiction is not readjusted because the correction begins after thirty days. The last month will never be fixed.
- When the field Type Information is equal to "P - Percentual" and the Type Index "4 - SELIC" in the index or Type Information is equal to "A - Cumulative" with any type of index:
Correction for the first day of the month, the index being a percentage:
| Period | Original value | Corrected value | Index |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4/1999 | 92.28 | 92.28 | 1.00 |
| 5/1999 | 92.28 | 79.55 | 1.16 |
| 6/1999 | 92.28 | 87.06 | 1.06 |
| 7/1999 | 92.28 | 83.14 | 1.11 |
The current index is always referring to the month being verified the amount paid in the averages.
The previous index is always referring to the month in which the value of the variable was paid.
The index will depend on the value reported in the field Day Correction and compute or pay calculation dates.
In this example, the current index is referring to 11/1999 which is equal to 1.00.
Calculation:
Value * current index / previous month's index
04/1999 => 92.28 * 1.00 / 1.00 = 92.28
05/1999 => 92.28 * 1.00 / 1.16 = 79.55
This value (79.55) will be changed only when the field Consider Negative Index in Correction of Values for Means of the Syndicate screen is set to "S - Yes", otherwise it will maintain the same index value (92,28).
- When the field Type Information is "P - Percentual" and the Type Index other than "4 - SELIC":
| Period | Index |
|---|---|
| 4/1999 | 0.08 |
| 5/1999 | 0.17 |
| 6/1999 | 0.07 |
The accumulated index is 0.32%, this value may depend on the period the calculation is being made, in this case, it is sum of the values of the last three months.
Cumulative index = 0.08 + 0.17 + 0.07 = 0.32
Original value = 763.68
Corrected value = 763.68 + 0.32% = 766.13
The module will perform the accumulation in the calculations if P is included in this datum.
Indicate how many digits the integer part of the indexer must have.
Inform the maximum amount of digits the decimal portion of the index may have.
Values
Inform the value of the index on the date indicated. The system does not allow intermediate dates to remain without index information. In this way, It automatically registers the value from the last date for all dates up to the next that is registered.
Valid only for Type Index equal to "1 - UFIR".
