Tables / Tables / Courses / Improvement Equivalence

Equivalence of Improvement Courses - Group

When in Miscellaneous> Markings, Registration tab, in the fieldCompetency Managementis set to "3 - Enable without legacy", this screen is not displayed.

It allows to define that certain courses be compatible among themselves since they belong to the same subject.

These equivalences will be used in Screening and Selection processes in the Recruitment and Selection module. When carrying out triage of candidate/worker, it will check in the record of improvement courses, if there is any course that the candidate/worker has taken which belongs to any equivalence group of the course of requirement, that is, only the candidate/worker who does not have the course of requirement or a equivalent course (information in the equivalence group of the course of requirement) will be reproved.

Note

In the routine of Competence Management, equivalence groups are not used for training and improvement courses. In these cases, Tags are used, being required to register the same Tag for all courses which are equivalent. It is also required that the person information bound to the worker information has the evidence of the course in question in its record.

In addition, when the Competency Management routine is in use, the system will check the equivalence of the courses during the Training Need Survey (LNT). When viewing the course requirements during an LNT, a requirement is considered to be met if the system finds a completed equivalent.

In the Trainings module, it will be used in the Survey of Job Need routine and in the group definitions, attendees folder.

1 Specific per Routine

It allows to register courses that already are in other equivalence groups. These groups will be used in the register of requirements when there is need for considering equivalent courses different from the standard, as in the case of distinct jobs which have as requirement the same improvement course when one of the jobs allows equivalence with a certain set of courses and the other job not, what prevents conflicts when registering the equivalences and duplication of courses.

The equivalences of courses are used in the routines of Triage and Selection (Recruitment and Selection), Survey for Training Need and Checking of Course Prerequisites (Trainings).

The respective fields are available on the windows of the Trainings and Recruitment and Selection modules:

  • (TR) Tables> Organizational Chart> Requirements> Local> Improvement and Training folder, where the field will be made available Group Eqv. (LNT);

  • (RS) Tables> Positions> Requirements> Improvement and Training folder, where the field will be made available Group Eqv. (Screening).
