Vehicles
Ronda senior X manages the company's vehicles, defining the people associated with them, controlling permissions and issuing specific credentials for vehicles, among other operations.
What you can do:
- On senior X Platform, go to Access Control and Security Management > General registers > Vehicles;
- Click on Add;
- Define the License Plate, Brand and Model of the vehicle;
- Select a Type of use among the following options:
- Private use: used by only one person. This person's permissions are checked during access validations, according to their role;
- Common usage: used by one or more people, who must have authorization. The permissions of both the person and the vehicle will be checked during access validations. If one of the two has permission to the location, access is granted;
- Free use: the vehicle can enter and leave the premises without the need for driver identification. It is the vehicle that provides access, therefore, the places to be accessed must be configured in the role related to it;
- Optionally, select the vehicle color in the fieldColors;
- click inTo save.
If the type of use of the vehicle is common or free, you may also associate a role with it to control its utilization, permissions and locations.
After registering a vehicle, as described in the previous process, it is possible for it to be associated with a person:
- Click on the buttonTo add the Associated People panel, which is displayed if the type of vehicle use is private or common (free use vehicles do not allow this type of association, as the driver does not need to be identified);
- Click againTo add and search for the desired person;
- Select the person who will be associated with the vehicle. If the type of use is private, only one person can be associated and there is no need to set an expiration date for the association - validity starts upon registration and lasts indefinitely. If the type of use is common, more than one person may be associated with the vehicle, and the association period must be defined. In this case the End date is optional. Leave it blank if you want the validity to last indefinitely.
- click inTo save.
A vehicle credential allows it to perform access validations and must be issued to grant entry to the locations assigned for it. Just like a person, a vehicle may have specific permissions which define its access. Validations may be based on the person, vehicle or both, depending on the type of use:
- Private use: the access is validated with the vehicle's credential, but the permission validation is based on the person who is associated with the vehicle;
- Common use: a double validation is executed, i.e., the person's and the vehicle's credentials must both be validated;
- Free use: requires that only the vehicle's access credential is used, as the system considers that the access is done by the vehicle and not by the person.
To issue a credential for a vehicle:
- In the List of Registered Credentials panel, clickAdd credential;
- Then clickTo add;
- Select theBadge technology type and inform yourNumber. AExpiration date is optional, for credentials that will expire after a certain time;
- click inTo save.
To terminate an issued credential, click on the Edit button of the credential, at the vehicle registration screen. Afterwards, click on the desired credential and then on the Terminate access credential button of the window that shows up.
