Global Settings
Global configurations are those that apply to all domains and tenants that Senior makes available, consequently to all customers that use the Senior X Platform. Configuration can be done by tenant, specific tenant domain or tenant domain service.
Email address
To theforget email or password access to the platform, it is possible to request a password change. In this way, an email is sent to the user so that the exchange can be carried out. For this functionality, SMTP settings are used. Therefore, it is important that certain checks are carried out so that this process is carried out correctly. Are they:
- accessible server;
- External IP to be accessed from the cloud/internet;
- public IPs and subnets released;
- account configured to send email on behalf of other senders;
- relay the server configured to accept senior X Platform to send emails;
- informed ports, users and passwords.
Due to the existence of other email settings on the platform and system, it is necessary to carry out other checks, in addition to these in the global settings:
- tenant configuration - allows sending password recovery emails to tenant users;
- configuration of notification services - allows you to send general emails and forgotten password emails to external users;
- system setup.
