The senior X Platform does not support repeated names or users with accents in the name. In this case, when using the user's first name as an identifier, these two limitations may occur. Regardless of the authentication method chosen, do not use spaces in the user name to access the platform.As the first name is usually not unique to be used asusername, there are two alternatives:
- Adjust the user name: changing the users' first name so that there are no conflicts and no special characters, such as accents and spaces, can solve the problem. However, users may not have their correct names in the solution;
- Create a custom attribute (recommended): Create a custom attribute that will contain the username on the platform.
To do this, access the optionManage custom attributes on the users screen and add a new custom attribute with the category Senior X and name Username. The type must be “Text” and be visible to the administrator and have a unique value. All users must have the value of this attribute filled in accordingly.
Then, access the SAML application registered previously and inAttribute Mapping Change the http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/username attribute so that it uses the Senior X category and Username attribute. teIf there is a high number of users to be updated, Google APIs can be used to make this update.
After configuring G Suite, forward the configured data to Senior, to proceed with the configuration of SAML authentication on the senior X Platform.
Due to the administration and evaluation of existing users in the database, it is recommended that changing the type of authentication is evaluated with specialized support from Senior.
