Configure the application of Clocking Events by Biometrics
To configure the application, you need to access the Configuration screen, which aims to parameterize the necessary information for the application to work correctly. On this screen, you will inform the necessary data for the application to communicate correctly with Mobility 2.0 .
How to fill in the information on the Setup screen
For the system to work correctly, it is necessary to fill in the fields available on the Settings screen. To do this, perform the following steps:
- Access the Configuration screen;
- Add information from: CNPJ (National Register of Legal Entities): fill in this field with the CNPJ of the branch whose branch you want to search for employees. This information can be consulted on the Web Manager's Branches screen; Observation This information is also recorded in the Clocking Event to generate traceability of where the event took place. Tenant of the senior X platform : this information you receive when purchasing Senior's services. Tenant example: senior. senior X Platform Tenant Domain : inform the domain to which the application belongs. Example: senior.com.br Observation The information entered in the fields Tenant of the senior X platform and Tenant Domain of the senior X platform will be used to carry out the necessary communications with the senior X platform. Access key : inform the access key of the application registered on the senior X platform. appSecret : inform the secret generated when creating the senior X application.
- After entering all the information, click Save so that all your changes are saved.
Observation
- If it is the first insertion of information in the fields, all fields will be mandatory.
- When updating records, the appSecret fields do not need to be informed, but if the Access Key field is changed, the appsecret field becomes mandatory.
- If login is unsuccessful, the following message will be displayed:
- It was not possible to authenticate on the senior X platform with the Tenant, Access Key and Secret information, please review the information, check your internet connection or contact the responsible area.
How to register and consult fingerprints
In order to be able to clock in, first of all, it is necessary to register the fingerprints on the Fingerprint Registration screen. The screen, in turn, aims to provide a way to register or change the fingerprints of employees. To perform one of these actions, the Fingerprint Registration screen is divided into two parts, the first screen being called Fingerprint Registration: Employees and the second Fingerprint Registration: Employee.
Fingerprint Registration: Employees
This screen has a list of employees at the branch showing Name, PIS (Social Integration Plan) and Registration Status, enabling the editing of this information.
- To search for the Employee through their code, use the Code filter;
- To search for a Employee by name, use the Employee filter;
- To search for Employees through their PIS, use the PIS filter;
- To search for Employees through their biometric status, the Digital field must be filled in with one of the available options: Registered, Not Registered, Partially and All.
- Registered : when the Employee has the registration of 2 (two) fingerprints;
- Partially : when the Employee has only 1 (one) fingerprint registered;
- Not registered : when the Employee does not have registered fingerprints.
Fingerprint Registration: Employee
When accessing the screen, the Employee's name will appear after the screen name. For example: Fingerprint Registration: Employee Name.
This screen presents the option of registering two fingerprints, Digital 1 and Digital 2 .
The purpose of the buttons is to collect the fingerprint of one of the Employee's fingers. When clicking on the button, a message will be displayed instructing the collection of the fingerprint and blocking any action on the screen.
To register a fingerprint, follow these steps:
- Access the Fingerprint Registration screen;
- Edit the employee who wants to register the fingerprint;
- On the Employee Registration screen, click the Register Fingerprint 1 button to collect the employee's first fingerprint;
- Still on the Employee Registration screen, click the Register Fingerprint 2 button to register the second fingerprint;
- Click Save to keep the fingerprints registered or Cancel to discard the fingerprints.
Observation
The registered fingerprints must be different from each other.
How to list Clocking Events
The system provides a way for you to list the clocking events made in the last 90 (ninety) days, being able to filter by specific fields to have a better visualization.
List the tags using the filters available on the screen:
- Filter a employee's clocking event using the Employee filter
- The Start Date and End Date filter will filter the list of appointments bringing appointments that occurred between the beginning and end date.
- The Only not synchronized field is filled with a checkbox , which must be selected, when the user intends to check the time stamps that were not synchronized. You can view this information just below, under Clocking Events Made, in column #.
Observation
When the markup was not synchronized, that is, it was not sent to the cloud, it is possible to click on the markup flag and the application will try to send the information to the cloud.
How to perform a Clocking Event
The clocking event is done through the Clocking Event screen, which aims to present information for punching time to Employees. The screen informs the time and, when the Employee performs an event through the reader, the event receipt is presented. For Employees who work intermittently at the Branches and/or have been transferred, and do not have their biometrics registered at the Branch, it is possible to use the option Can't find your fingerprint? , and inform your code to make the clocking event. In addition, the screen displays the last event with the name of the Employee who performed it.
To make the markup, it's very simple:
- Click on the Make Clocking Event button to activate the reader that will collect the biometrics to perform the event.
Observation
- Even if you use the option Can't find your fingerprint? and enter the code, it is necessary to place your finger on the reader so that the system compares the biometrics collected with the biometrics retrieved from the cloud.
- The code that the Employee will use in the Didn't find your fingerprint option? is the Employee registration number.
Synchronization Routines
Retrieve employee information from the cloud
The routine of Retrieving information from Cloud Employees is focused on searching for information from Employees in the cloud, in order to keep client information up to date. The information that the routine brings to the client is:
- For employees linked to the CNPJ of the Branch, the routine compares the CNPJ entered in the client configuration with the CNPJ registered for the Branch in the cloud;
- The previously collected biometrics that are stored in the cloud;
- The update of this routine is done automatically.
Retrieve branch information
Routine responsible for collecting branch information in the cloud. It runs during application startup and when saving settings to store timezone information to be used by other routines.
Synchronization of Tags
Routine responsible for synchronizing events that have been performed offline.
Routine for cleaning events and sanitizing the base
Routine responsible for sanitizing the database, avoiding unnecessary growth of the local base.
The routine's main function is to remove synchronized events that have passed 90 days since they were performed and to erase possible fingerprint capture failures and other data that do not need to be used by the application.
Observation
The routine runs every day at 00:00 or when starting the application.
Platform Permission
The Configuration, Fingerprint Registration and Events Made screens can only be accessed through authentication on the senior X platform.
The user performing the authentication must have the necessary permissions to access the screens, namely:
- Client Mobility - Biometric registration;
- Client Mobility - Configuration;
- Client Mobility - Events made;
The application that is registered in senior X on the Applications screen needs to receive the following permissions:
- biometricPattern (res://senior.com.br/hcm/pontomobile/entities/biometricPattern): allows editing, deleting, including and viewing;
- clientData (res://senior.com.br/hcm/pontomobile/clientData): is a permission;
- Collaborator (res://senior.com.br/hcm/pontomobile/entities/employee): allows viewing;
- Branch (res://senior.com.br/hcm/pontomobile/entities/company): allows viewing;
- Clocking (res://senior.com.br/hcm/pontomobile/clockingEvent): this is a permission.
Note
For permissions to work, fields must be marked with the actions made available to them.
Access key and appSecret
senior X application : for the client to communicate with the Clocking Event 2.0 structure, it is necessary to register an application on the senior X platform. This application will receive specific permissions for communications to work correctly. When the application is created, two pieces of information are generated: Access key and Secret , these fields represent the application's access credentials to the senior X platform.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The event through biometrics is linked to the desired level of reliability, therefore, the more details the system must verify in the Employee/user's biometrics, the longer the event will take. In addition, the number of people who will be present at a station for the verification to be carried out is taken into account.
Application installation is done through the installer available in the downloads area. When accessing it, just follow the installation steps.
The application has an updater, therefore, once installed it will update itself automatically, avoiding the need to perform a new installation. This update works as follows: for 7 (seven) days, after the date on which the last version is released, the system will try 3 (three) times a day to download and update the new version. If the system fails to update itself in that time, it will be necessary to update manually.
- Access the Events Made screen; It is
- Apply the desired filters to display the tags according to the filters.
