Network releases
CONNECT, by acting as an intermediary between systems, receives and sends requests from different sources over the internet, according to the integration processes. This means that the network environment of the server hosting Connect must allow two groups of requests for the integrator: requests originated by users in the development interface and requests from external systems, responsible for triggering integrations via web hooks – Inbound rules.
On the other side of the process, it is also necessary to ensure that systems that receive requests from the integrator do not perform blocking at the network layer.

Table: “Connect – Backend” refers to the network environment that hosts Connect. In the case of a cloud implementation, these releases are the responsibility of the Senior teams and in the case of an onPremise installation, the responsibility of the contractor's network infrastructure. Port 443 is default for both Cloud(SaaS) and on-premise(on-premise) instances of CONNECT.
