Technical Skills

When in Others > Indications, Information tab, the Management per Competencies field is set as 3-Activate without legacy, this window is not displayed.

It can be defined as technical skill, everything that the worker knows how to do technically, for example, its experience as production engineer or also its influence in the English language. Another example would be for the worker who wishes to hold the position of Junior Programmer. For this, it needs to have the following skills: master report generator, programming in Delphi, know about database, etc.

In the register of the technical skills (R077Hte), it is possible to use the following rules for process:

Technical Skill

Identify the technical skill that is being registered.
This identification may be linked to the blocks of technical skills, for example, for knowledge evaluation per skills.

For conceptual information on the skills, click here.

Information

Name

Enter a name that will identify the technical skill.

Complexity

Identify the skill with a degree of complexity, for possible use in reports.

Revision Date

Report the date of revision for this technical skill.

End Date

Report the end date for the revision of this skill.

Revision Number

Report the code to revision for the skill in question.

Validity Months

Report the months of validity to this skill. This field will be used for generating Web certification records, to calculate the validity date of the technical skill record, located in Development > Skills > Technical > Information.

Table of Grades

Indicate the code of the table of grades that will be used to evaluate the skill. The registration of this table is done in > Tables > Courses > Evaluation Grades > Information.

Practical Test

Inform the code of the practical test questionnaire that will be used in the tests for the WEB certification. The registration of the questionnaire is done in Development > Tests > Information.

Theoretical Test

Inform the code of the theoretical test questionnaire that will be used in the tests for the WEB certification. The registration of the questionnaire is done in Development > Tests > Information.

Uses in the evaluation

It defines if the Skill will be used in the Evaluation:

Use in Certification

Defines if the Skill will be used in the Certification:

Origin of Certification

Define the Certification Origin (when the Skill is used in Certification):

Note

It is understood that for skills which certification has origin in Tests, done through the routine of effective tests in the Web Training module, it is certifying the worker knowledge in relation to the skill in question. That is why the Skill Minimum percentage presented in the Result of the Effective Test is the Knowledge Minimum Percentage. In the record of technical skills of this worker, it will be indicated that it has been certified only when the Knowledge percentage is superior to the skill Knowledge Minimum percentage.

Assists in the Evaluation

It defines if the Skill may help an Evaluation.

Note

This field (independently on what is set in it) does not influences in any automatic process of the system.

Detailed Evaluation

Report the code of detailed evaluation to be used to evaluate this skill.

Description

In this item the user can indicate a more detailed description for each registered technical skill.

Note

In this field, the user can register some additional information, if necessary, for this skill.

File

Report the document name that can be viewed during the performing of certification tests in the Training (Web) module, in Tests > Effective, Through the Consult link of the File column. This file will be available according to the indication in Development > Tests > Definitions - Show the Skill File field. To view the registered file, on the bottom of the window, there is the Open File button. While viewing the test in the Web Training module, this file will be copied from the original directory to the directory equivalent to the information in the Directory of HTML Page Files field, from the Configuration Center (SeniorConfigCenter.exe), followed by the Images folder.

Note

In the Compatibility mode, the complete directory corresponds to the information in the Directory of HTML Page Files field, followed by the name reported in the key httpcfg.globais.diretorio_images from the Configuration Center (SeniorConfigCenter.exe).

Improvement Courses

The Improvement Courses required must be registered, for that the worker performs a particular skill.

The improvement courses are those which improve the worker performance in Technical skills.

Weight

Weight that the improvement course will have for calculating the Performance percentage.

Training Courses

The Training Courses required must be registered, for that the worker performs a particular skill.

When indicating the training courses in this folder, it means that in the performance evaluation the module will check the worker’s courses record and will calculate a percentage that will be also used in the evaluation.

Weight

Weight that the training course will have for calculating the Training percentage.

Situation

Register in which situation the training course must be to be considered as a requirement that the worker has.

Knowledge

The knowledge may be acquired without necessity of training or improvement courses. The workers have them, but for this, they did not need taking the courses or, they are used to identify which knowledge the worker really has.
The knowledge required must be registered, for that the worker performs a particular skill.

As example of knowledge prerequisite we have a course of Working Routines for the technical skill “Programming of Calculation Routines in Payroll Software”.

The knowledge is registered in Tables > Courses > Knowledge and organized in families, to be used later as prerequisite of technical skills.

Note

In the knowledge information, it is also necessary registering the knowledge evaluators and also which is the minimum grade required for the knowledge, which will be used for generating the knowledge certification. When the company does not need using certification, the information in the Minimum Grade field must not be used.

Weight

The value reported in the Weight field will influence only in the calculation of the grade for the skill certification, to which the knowledge is a requirement.

The fields below will be displayed only if the Items per Evaluation Focus indication is reported as Y on the General Definitions of Evaluation window.

Then, in each of the skills mentioned above, the same process has been reported: Making Shirts. And in Skills > Consult Processes, when calling this process, will bring all skills inherent to it, even allowing to consult the Process description with all information related to the specified process.

On this window, it is possible to indicate a date and a process code in which the technical skill is involved.

Note

The skills involved in a certain process may be consulted later in Skills > Consult Process.
