Integration with peripherals - SeniorReaders

In simpler environments, where the Senior system is installed on a station, the readers physically communicate with it via USB.

However, in more complex environments where the station must access Citrix or Windows WTS to share the reader installation with specific servers, the servers in question must be able to access information from the station's USB-connected reader. As the data that passes through the reader is complex, theplugin Citrix or WTS cannot translate this information and install the driver as if it were remote.

With the aim of enabling the use of biometric readers in complex environments that use Cloud (such as WTS and Citrix) and meeting the needs of scenarios in which a reader is shared with several stations, Senior developed the applicationSeniorReaders.

Operation

The function of SeniorReaders is to translate the reader's information and send it in packets to the servers.

When a biometrics request is made, these servers communicate with the computer where SeniorReaders is installed. Therefore, your network structure must allow access for an external machine to access the application from a previously configured port.

If there is more than one computer at the entrance and only one biometric reader, SeniorReaders also allows them to communicate with each other. To do this, all the machines need to do is point to the station that has SeniorReaders installed.
