Access credits
This feature defines the number of times that an ID card can be used on an access device during a given timeslot and/or in a given physical location. This access control requires a person to have credits in order to access a location using a given device.
When the ID Card is used on the reader, the following items will be verified:
- Whether the physical location controls credits;
- Whether the person controls credits;
- Whether the person has a credit range;
- Whether the person has already accessed within that credit range.
- The person has a credit range from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM, but is trying to access the location at 02:00 PM. The access will be defined due to the credit range.
- The user has a credit range from 00:00 PM to 02:30 PM and tries to access the cafeteria at 00:30 PM. At 02:00 PM, the user decides to have a break and tries to access the location again, however, the access will be denied by the credit control.
Note
For the person to control access credit, all roles associated with them must be marked asActivated orNot configured, in the Control access credit option, in senior X Platform > Access and Security Management > General registrations >Roles > Validations.
Credit granting
The credit granting to the person occurs through the role or roles that he/she has. Each role may be associated with more than one set of credit ranges registered, and each set may have a varied number of credit ranges.
The Worker role is associated with the Lunch credit range set, which has the following ranges:
- from 11 AM to 01 PM, from Monday to Friday;
- from 11 AM to 04 PM, on Saturdays and Sundays.
And the same Worker role is associated with the Dinner credit range set, which has the following ranges:
- from 06 PM to 09 PM, from Monday to Friday;
- from 06 PM to 10 PM, on Saturdays and Sundays.
Each person will have one access credit per range. If the person has more than one role associated, he/she will receive the access credits of each role.
What you can do:
- On senior X Platform, go to Access Control and Security Management > Access Control > Credit ranges;
- Click on Add and, in Description, fill in the name of the set that's being created. If there are any holidays that must be considered during the period, select them in Holiday list and click on Save;
- In Access credit range list, click on Add;
- Fill in the Start time and the End time of this credit range and check the days of the week and/or holidays on which it will be valid;
- Click on Save.
To add a new credit range to this set, click on Add again and repeat the steps listed above.
Third shift credit ranges
For third shift workers, the end of an access range may be defined at a time that is lower than the start time. Thus, a range that starts on one day and ends on the following day will be created.
The days of the week associated with the credit range is the day on which the range starts.
If the person uses a range going from 11 PM to 03 AM, accesses the cafeteria at 11 PM of Tuesday and tries to access it at 02:30 AM of Wednesday, the person will be blocked due to lack of credit, as even if it is already another day, he/she will have already consumed the credit of this range.
Holidays
That is, at Access control > Credit ranges, after clicking on Add and filling in the Description, select a Holiday list (previously registered at the Holidays screen). Ou seja, em Controle de acesso > Faixas de crédito, após clicar em Adicionar e preencher a Descrição, selecione uma Lista de feriados (cadastrados previamente na tela Feriados).
In case of third shifts,a holida credit will be consumed when the holiday corresponds to the start of the credit range.
The person's credit range corresponds to the period between 11 PM and 03 AM. There is a holiday on the Tuesday and the user accesses on 02:30 AM of the Wednesday. One holiday credit will be consumed, as the range started on 11 PM of the previous day.
Prerequisites
To be able to associate credit ranges to a person, you must configure the following permissions:
- Activity "Senior Round X - Role Dependencies";
- Activity "Senior round X - Access credit bands";
- "menu-credit-range" resource.
To configure the permission of the Activity "Senior round X - Role Dependencies" and activity "Senior round X - Access credit ranges":
- On senior X Platform, go to Technology > Administration > Authorization > Role Management;
- In the desired role, click on Edit;
- In the Configurations section, at the Permissions tab, click on Activity;
- Search for the desired activity and activate the permissions;
- Click on Save.
To configure permission for the "menu-credit-range" resource:
- On senior X Platform, go to Technology > Administration > Authorization > Role Management;
- In the desired role, click on Edit;
- In the Configurations section, at the Permissions tab, click on Services;
- Search for "sam / permission" and enable the menu-credit-range permission;
- Click on Save.
Then:
- On senior X Platform, go to Access Control and Security Management > General registers > Roles;
- Find the desired role with the Search or by clicking on List all;
- Click on the role and, in Validations, click on Edit;
- In the Check Access Credits option, set it as Enabled and search for the registered set or sets of credit ranges that shall be associated with this role;
- Click on Save.
This association can also be made upon creating the role. To do this, click on Add, fill in the general data, click on Save and, in Validations, set the Check Access Credits item as Enabled.
If a person has more than one role associated with him/her, and these roles have overlapping credit ranges, the credits will add up. That is, this person will receive the access credits of each role, even if these credits are intended for the same period.
A person has the Worker and Partner roles. If the Worker role gives him/her the right to one access credit for a range that corresponds to the period from 11 AM to 01 PM, and the Partner role giver him/her one access credit for a role that covers the same period, this person will have two access credits for the period from 11 AM to 01 PM.
To do the credit validation, enable the access credit control of the device's destination location, on senior X Platform > Access Control and Security Management > General registers > Physical locations. This activation may take place during the registration of a physical location or while editing an existing one, in the Validations section.
In addition to this, you must enable the credit control in the role of the person who will access the location and associate the credit range set with this role. To do this, on the senior X Platform, go to Access and Security Management > General registrations >Roles. Just like it occurs with the physical location, this setting may be enabled during the role registration or while editing an existing one.
Note
If the person's role does not have credit control, he/she will bot be blocked due to access credits. However, when using a device in a location that controls credits, a credit will be consumed.
If the person discontinues the access, that is, if he/she passes the credential on the device and does not complete the entry, the credit will not be deducted from that day.
To consult scheduled credits and credit consumption, on the senior X Platform, go to Technology > Customizations > Reports >Dynamic views. In this screen, the following consultations can be done, as well as other consultations based on reports created by the Administrator.
Prior consultation of credits scheduled for the day
On this dynamic view, verify the credits that people will have to use on the day on which the consultation is executed (table: sam-application. sam_creditos_agendados_dia).
The people considered in this consultation are those who have roles that enable the credit control. With this validation disabled, they may access the location in any range valid for the current day.
In the valida_credito_acesso (validate access credits) field, the following values may be defined:
- 0 - Disabled
- 1 - Enabled
Daily consumption consultation
If you wish to view the consumption of the credits on the day (table: sam-application.sam_consumo_credito_acesso), the following values must fill in the dia_semana_consumo (consumption day of the week) field:
- 0 - Sunday
- 1 - Monday
- 2 - Tuesday
- 3 - Wednesday
- 4 - Thursday
- 5 - Friday
- 6 - Saturday
- 7 - Holiday
Third party credit consumption consultation
Consult the origin of the credit consumed by people associated with third party companies by verifying table sam-application.sam_consumo_outra_empresa.
Consumption associated with the visited person's cost center
The credit consumption cost center of a visitor is associated with a visited person. To verify the cost center of a visit, use this table: sam-application. sam_consumo_credito_acesso_centro_de_custo_visitado.
As a visit may visit more than one person, the credit consumption register will appear associated with the cost center of the first person visited.
Consumption associated with the worker's cost center
Query the credit consumption associated with the employee's cost center using the sam-application table. sam_consumo_credito_acesso_centro_custo_pessoa.
Note
If the dynamic views mentioned previously show the cost center fields without a value filled in, this means the cost center must be registered in the Organizational structure screen and be associated with the person.
Credit range and consumption
The credit range used by a person will be identified by his/her roles valid on the access event date, and not the roles he/she has on the consultation date.
When a credit range may be identified, it will be recorded along together with the consumption. If the range is not found, the consumption registration will be recorded anyway.
