Substitute user
The substitute user allows one user to perform the role of another for a specific period of time. The permissions are added to the surrogate's current permissions. The role is common, as people can go on vacation and get sick, for example, making it necessary for someone to perform their role on a partial or interim basis.
Is requiredrelease permission for a user to be able to link surrogate users to others. If the user does not have the permission enabled in the system, it will only be possible to link the substitute user to your own user.
Important
The substitute user functionality works at the permissions level where the substitute user assumes the roles of another user. Some of these functionalities may be limited, and it is necessary to consult the documentation for each module/product.
