Stage model
Note
- Content compatible with the updated version of the Recruitment and Selection Module, previously named Recruitment Management.
- If your company has not migrated to the current version of the module yet, access the business rules regarding the stage model in the original version.
The definition of the current stage model must take place before registering a new job opening, otherwise the job opening will be created based on the default stage model provided by the system.
Whenever a new job opening is created demanding a new stage sequence for the selection process, a new stage model must be created and defined as in effect.
From the definition of the selection process stage model, you can register a job opening to be approved by the HR department or make a personnel request. Also, depending on the received permission, the Manager may register a job opening to start the selection process.
Define the stage model of each selection process
Registering a stage model or choosing to use the model already configured by the system is the first step before beginning the candidates selection of the selection process.
The stage model registration is made in Recruitment and Selection Management > Settings > Manage stage model > Register model button. In the Model Details screen, the name and the validity date of the model must be defined, as well as the stakes that will make up the process.
The stages created to make up the selection process will be automatically inserted between the stages already created: Sorted and Approved. These two stages cannot be removed or deleted, as they cover all models to be created, representing the first (Sorted) and last (Approved) stage of the selection process.
Upon finishing the registration, the new stage model will make up the Model List as in effect.
The module suggests the Default stage model, made up by the following stages: Sorted > HR Interview > Leader Interview > Approved. The Default model is configured on the system and is an option for the candidate selection.
Notes
- The Default stage model, created by the system, cannot be deleted or edited, only viewed.
- Several stage models can be created, however only one will be considered in effect, depending on the date configured for the start of the validity.
- The validity end date of the stage model is not displayed, because as soon as the validity start date of another model is updated, the previous model is automatically no longer considered in effect.
- The registered stage models are listed on the screen according to the validity start date, always in descending order.
- The candidate may be sent to the medical examination during any stage of the selection process.
- Editing or deleting a stage model is possible as long as the model to be modified is not associated with any job opening.
- We recommend registering a broader stage model, which covers the stages used in the selection process of all jobs in the organization, whenever possible.
