Data pre-processing
The data pre-processing is done on the Remuneration Management module to make the return of information requested by the Manager and the HR department faster. This action involves the search for information to displaying it on the screen, and everything in between.
Pre-processed data is related to the Worker's movement and also to his or her salary data, salary table position and framework. Every data of each Worker is stored from the moment he or she is hired onwards, and is pre-processed monthly. The database entities that store these information per worker are employeemonthpositiondata and employeemonthpositionvalue.
Analytics
Automatic pre-processing operation
The pre-processing operation begins with the senior X Platform Scheduling service in Technology > Customization > Scheduling. In the service of the Remuneration Management module (remuneration_pre_processor) three schedules are created:initial load,Daily pending check It is Periodic pending check. These schedulings are executed in three different periods:
- Initial load: executes the worker information processing only once, 5 minutes after the scheduling creation in the Remuneration Management module service.
- Daily pendency verification: this verification is executed once per day, more precisely at 1 AM, analyzing whether there are any workers whose information were not pre-processed for the current month yet.
- Periodic pendency verification: is executed every 9 minutes. This scheduling consumes pendencies created from changes regarding the Worker's movement, salary information associated with jobs and job positions, and also modifications made in the salary table. The pendencies that this scheduling consumes are saved in the database, in the employeemonthpositionpendency entity.
Note
- These schedulings are automatically created by the tool and must not be deleted.
- If the user deletes the scheduling, it will be created again when the Remuneration Management service is restarted in the cloud environment.
Manual information processing
When the information pre-processing must be brought forward, this can be manually done in Remuneration Management > Processing > Information processing - Analytics. Simply define the pre-processing start date and, if needed, the names of the workers.
The manual information pre-processing can be executed when it is not possible to wait for the scheduled automatized pre-processing date.
Employee performance reviews
It is possible to import employee performance evaluations that have been carried out in other systems, except Senior. This action allows you to integrate data generated in systems external to the Remuneration Management module.
The import containing the result of the evaluations applied is carried out in Compensation management > Data pre-processing > Performance evaluations.
Note
- The import file must contain the same header as the example file;
- Notes with decimal places must be separated by a period. (Example: 7.5);
- To inform that an evaluation was not carried out, the field must be blank;
- To overwrite notes, the fieldsCompany,Registration ,Employee type,Cycle start/end date It isCycle must be the same as those to be overwritten.
Setting up other systems that do performance reviews
Before accessing the Employee Performance Evaluations screen, it is necessary to disable the parameterDo you use Senior's Performance Management module?, located on the General tab, under Compensation Management > Settings.
By system default, the parameter is selected in the optionYes, preventing actions from the Benchmarks screen. It is necessary to select the opposite option, that is,No, to then access the screen.
Workers' performance evaluations
It is on the Employee Performance Evaluations screen that the file is imported, containing data related to employees, as well as the result of the applied performance evaluations.
On the screen there is a file available for the conference, which must be downloaded. In the file example, it is possible to verify how the data in the table should be organized. The field informationCompany,Registration ,type of employee,start date It isCycle, are mandatory and must be filled in before the file is imported. Completing the other fields in the example are optional.
For evaluations to be imported, the file must be saved in the .csv extension, in addition to being encoded in UTF-8 format, in order to guarantee data integrity.
Application of data from the imported file
When entering data from performance evaluations in Senior's Compensation Management module, the results will be included in the rankingNominated for salary increase and also in the graph entitledCompensation x Performance, available on the Manager, Team and HR Analytics pages, in the following locations:
- Compensation management > Compensation Analytics - HR > Compensation x Performance.
- Compensation management > Compensation Analytics - Manager > Nominees for salary increase and Compensation x Performance.
- Analytics > Team Analytics > Indicated for salary increase and Compensation x Performance.
Finally, thesalary proposal will also be impacted by the fact that the applicant may be alerted or even have the proposal blocked, depending on the result of the employee's performance evaluation.
To do this, enable the Consist time limit? and the Consist time limit below the initial limit?, in Remuneration management > Salary policy > Manage salary policy > Salary policy list. They are present at the sessionsFramework,Merit It isPromotion. The types are:
- Define whether the Results Evaluation must be considered as a criterion for salary raises and what is the minimum percentage for this to happen. The percentage of the worker's last results evaluation is compared to the percentage defined in the policy criterion. If the worker has no evaluations to be considered, the consistency is not executed.
- Define whether the Competence Evaluation must be considered as a criterion for salary raises and what is the minimum achievement concept for this to happen. The concept of the worker's last competence evaluation is compared to the concept defined in the policy criterion. If the worker has no evaluations to be considered, the consistency is not executed.
