Credentials
The Ronda senior X grants the possibility of access to a person or vehicle through credentials. On the system, credentials represent something that allows someone to be identified and make validations on devices, so that access may be obtained for a given location.
Credentials in Ronda senior X can be one of the following types:
- ID Card: identification plate or tag that usually contains the person's name and photo. It can be constituted of certain technologies that store data to be read on devices. Credentials of the ID Card type can also be:
- Main: permanent credential of a person, usually issued for workers (employees, third party workers and partners);
- Temporary: a nonpermanent credential that is usually generated for people who must access the location for a short period of time, such as single-day visitors. It's also issued for workers who forgot their main ID Card, so that they can access the company that day. A temporary credential can be issued after a previous scheduling or at the time when it's necessary. It the company expects the visit of a large number of people, the responsible for the entrance can schedule the issuance of credentials for this visit, so that their delivery can be faster when the visitors arrive.
- Biometrics: identification method based on the reading of a body characteristic of the person, such as fingerprints and hand anatomy;
- Facial: identification based on a photo of the person's face. Only one facial credential can be registered per person;
- Virtual: uses a mobile device to generate a QR Code which is read by the access device.
Grades
In addition to the procedures described below, which are carried out by Ronda senior X Access Control, credentials can be issued through theVirtual concierge.
To update the photo on a facial device, the person must have access permission to this device through their Role and also a Facial type Credential.
What you can do:
Issue a main credential for a person
- On senior X Platform, access Ronda Senior > General registrations > People;
- In the Find Person section, find the profile of the desired person and click on it and then on Edit. If the person is not registered on the system yet, click on Add and fill in the fields to register him or her;
- In Register Data, at the Main Credentials tab, click on Add. To edit an existing one, click on it in the list, and then on Edit;

- Technology of the credential:If it is a badge, fill in theBadge number. If you wish, you can enter an expiration date for the credential (if you are editing this registration, only the date can be changed);
- If the technology is biometrics, select theManufacturer;
- If it's facial, add a photo to your profile on the profile screen.registration of people, using the buttonsCapture photo orAdd photo. On the screen that appears, you can create a facial credential if you wish, by activating the optionCreate facial credential. Otherwise, simply return to the Holder Credentials tab;
Important
The person must have a registered profile photo for the credential to be created, as this image will be used for the credential itself. If the person does not have a photo, one must be added to the person register.
- Click on Save.
Holder credentials can also be issued through theThird Party Management. This delivery has differences depending on whether the system isintegrated with Ronda Senior or not.
If the system is integrated with Ronda Senior:
- The credential can be delivered by a contract data reviewer, using the BPM form ;
- It is necessary to inform theCredential Technology and theCredential Number;
- The credential number must follow the Badge Settings rules configured in Ronda Senior.
If the system is not integrated, the credential must be created via the login screen.People.

Issue a credential for a vehicle
Vehicle credentials work in a similar way to people credentials, with the difference that the responsibility for the validation may belong to the vehicle itself, to the person driving it or to both, depending on the type of use of the vehicle. To issue a credential for a vehicle:
- On senior X Platform, access Ronda Senior > General registrations > Vehicles;
- At the Registered Vehicles section, find the desired vehicle and click on it. You can also search via the Filters section;
- If it is not yet registered in the system, clickTo add and fill in the fieldsVehicle use,Manufacturer,Model It isPlate to register;
- The vehicle information screen will be shown. At the Registered Credentials List, click on the Add credential button;
- The credentials of that vehicle will be shown on the screen. To register a new credential, click on the Add button. To edit a existing one, click on it;
- Select the ID Card Technology and enter its Number. If you wish, an expiration date can be defined for the credential. If editing this register, only the date may be changed. If you have SeniorReaders installed, the fieldNumber it does not need to be filled out, as it will be obtained when the badge is placed on the reader;
- Click on Save.
