ADM0006 - Unit of Measurement
A unit of measurement is an established standard for quantifying physical quantities, such as length, mass, volume, time and others. These units allow us to measure and compare different quantities in a precise and consistent way. Units of measurement are registered so that they can be assigned throughout the system in various registrations and modules.
What can you do?
Initial Registration
To register a unit of measurement access - SimpleFarm > Administration Menu > Master Data > Unit of Measurement and then:
- Insert a Unit Symbol: a unique symbol must be provided for each unit of measurement;
- Insert a Unit: a unique description must be provided for each unit;
- Insert a Type - The Type : is the category of the quantity that will be controlled or measured by the registered Unit of Measurement (Example: Unit of Measurement Kg- is of Mass Type; Unit of Measurement mm- is of Length Type; Unit of Measurement m²- is of Area Type);
- Click on Save.
In this tab it is possible to inform the units of measurement that can be converted and the factor for each one. To inform a unit of measurement:
- Fill in the Unit To field with the code;
- Insert the Multiplication Factor;
- Click on Save.
After registering the units of measurement, the user will be able to configure some units of measurement, according to the use in the modules that follow:

UnitMeasureStandardHectare: Standard Unit of Measurement for Hectare (ha)- Defines the standard unit of measurement for Hectares that will be used in the validation of the Service Order and Operation area on the (AGR0087 - Apontamento de Produção) screen. The values presented are from the unit of measurement registration (ADM0006 - Unidade de Medida).
UnitMeasureStandardMeter: Standard Unit of Measurement for Linear Meter (m))- Defines the standard unit of measurement for Linear Meters that will be used in the area validation of the Service Order and Operation on the AGR0087 - Apontamento de Produção screen. The values presented are from the unit of measurement registration (ADM0006 - Unidade de Medida).
UnitMeasureStandardSqMeter: Standard Unit of Measurement for Square Meter (m²)- Defines the standard unit of measurement for Square Meters that will be used in the area validation of the Service Order and Operation, on the AGR0087 - Apontamento de Produção screen. The values presented are from the unit of measurement registration (ADM0006 - Unidade de Medida).
Automotive Module:
ManModVersionCombustionTypeGaseous: Gaseous fuel unit of measure- when activating this parameter, the unit of measure for the consumed gaseous fuel is configured. At the time of registering a Model/Version AUT0220 - modelo, the Equipment Fuel Supply is defined as “Liquid or Gaseous”. Subsequently, during the entry of a fueling form (AUT0260 - Abastecimentos e Lubrificações), the fuel consumption corresponding to the Equipment is performed.
ManModVersionCombustionTypeLiquid: Liquid fuel unit of measure- when activating this parameter, the unit of measure for the consumed liquid fuel is configured. At the time of registering a Model/Version AUT0220 - modelo, the Equipment Fuel Supply is defined as “Liquid or Gaseous”, and subsequently, during the entry of a fueling form (AUT0260 - Abastecimentos e Lubrificações), the fuel consumption corresponding to the Equipment is performed.
