UTL0106- Community
It is a group of individuals who, through their common interests, share system objects, aiming to exchange information and create collective knowledge.
What can you do?
Initial Community Registration
- To add a new community access SimpleFarm > Utilities Menu > Viewer > Community (UTL0106).
- To start the registration, click on the Add button, located in the lower corner of the screen.
- To add the community, it is necessary to fill in the following fields:
- Name;
- Select Files ;
- Description ;
- Click on Save to register the data entered in the registration.
To link users to an existing community, follow the steps below:
- Access the Community menu;
- Find the desired community or click on New Community to create a new one;
- Click on Edit and access the Users tab;
- Click on Add Users;
- Select the users who should belong to the community;
- Click on Save to complete the registration of a new community.
Important
The same user can be linked to more than one community. The permissions assigned to the community will be added to the permissions already granted to the user individually or by groups.
- In the community list, click on Edit next to the desired community;
- Change the available fields, such as:
- Community Name;
- Description: optional;
- Click on Save to register the changes.
Important
Only users with administrative permissions can edit or delete communities.
- Access the Community menu;
- Find the community you want to delete;
- Click on Delete next to the corresponding line;
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
