AGR0035 - Crop
Agriculture is the activity of cultivating plants for food and raw material production.
The diversity of agricultural crops is essential for food security and soil health. With this in mind, farmers can also use strategies such as crop rotation to optimize yields and minimize the use of fertilizers.
Important
The Crop registration will be used by the pages Árvore de Processo (ADM0043), Transição de Cultura (AGR0189), Local (AGR0023), Manutenção de Cultura (AGR0191), Painel Gráfico de Ordem de Serviço (AGR0090) and Variedade (AGR0039).
Crop Classification
Plants or called agricultural crops can be classified by their different purposes into several types:
They are cultivated to meet human needs, such as wheat, corn, legumes, rice and potatoes.
They are produced for consumption by cattle and other animals, such as barley, beet and grass.
Used in the textile industry and for bedding, such as hemp, cotton and linen.
They produce oil for use in machinery or in the food industry, such as rapeseed and sunflower.
They are used for home decoration and landscaping, including flowers and garden shrubs.
What can you do?
The Crops registration aims to identify and categorize all crops that will be handled and controlled in the system. This is one of the initial steps to be able to use the main features present in the Agrícola and Balança modules;
- Access the menu Agricultural > Crops > Crop (AGR0035);
The registration will be performed in three tabs: Informações Básicas, Estágios da Cultura and Transição de Estágio.
- To register the crop in the basic information tab, you need to fill in the following fields:
- Code;
- Description;
- Abbreviation ;
- Unit of Measure: mandatory field. Represents the unit of measure used to control the handling of the registered crop. The registration is performed on page Unidade de Medida (ADM0006);
- Standard Crop: retrieves the values Sugar Cane, Cotton and Rice (system default values). It is not possible to have multiple crops with the same Standard Crop value (only one crop is associated with the standard crop);
- Color: represents the color of the registered crop;
- Icon ;
- Characteristic: retrieves the values Annual, Perennial and Semi-Perennial (system default values);
- Annual: crops whose cycle ends each harvest, that is, after harvest a new planting must occur;
- Perennial: crops whose cycle renews each harvest, that is, after harvest there is no need for a new planting. By selecting this option, the Estágios da Cultura and Transição de Estágio tabs will be enabled.
- Semi-Perennial: crops whose cycle renews each harvest, that is, after harvest the crop automatically enters a growth process and there is no need for a new planting. By selecting this option, the Estágios da Cultura and Transição de Estágio tabs will be enabled.
- Spacing: represents the spacing adopted during crop production. The registration is performed on page Espaçamento (AGR0040);
- Harvest Start Date : the possible values for these fields can be:
- Entry Date of First Weighing (Bring value as default);
- Exit Date of First Weighing;
- First Execution Date of Harvest WO (WO Log);
- Harvest End Date : the possible values for these mandatory fields can be:
- Entry Date of Last Weighing (Bring value as default);
- Exit Date of Last Weighing;
- Harvest WO Closing Date;
- Spacing Type: mandatory field. Retrieves the values Between Lines, Between Plants and Rows and Between Rows. From the Spacing field filled in previously, select the standard type of this spacing;
- Consider Project Area as Crop Area: when this parameter is active, when registering a location, on the Local (AGR0023) screen, Crops tab, the Area field comes filled with the Project area previously registered in the Areas tab of the same screen and this field is locked for editing;
- Use Auxiliary Metric to Monitor Planting: when active, this parameter enables a field in the work order log of type “Planting”, on the Work Order Graphic Panel screen AGR0090. Its purpose is to inform the number of rows the plot will have, after planting;
- In mobility: when active, it also enables the fields for metric input, as in SimpleFarm and seed quantity.
- Mandatory Seedling Origin: when logging a Work Order of Planting type, the Seedling Origin information will be mandatory;
- Enable Planting Information Tab in W.O. : enables a new tab in the Work Order named Planting Information, in which the user informs the quantity of seeds per hectare. This selection field will be enabled only when the Characteristic field is filled with the Annual value;
- Use seed category: parameter used by seed producers together with the category registration Categoria de semente (AGR0750). When active, the seed category fields will be enabled and will be mandatory in the “Planting” tab of the planting work order and in the “Locations” tab of the harvest WO log that will converge on the Local (AGR0023) screen - “Crops” tab. Prior activation of the parameter on the ADM0012 screen is required.
- Include Harvest Scheduling : is activated when the crop is of annual characteristic, impacting the Expected Harvest Date and Harvest Sched. fields on the Lançamento de Estimativa (AGR0058) screen;
- Inform Producing Unit in Seedling Origin: this parameter is only enabled when the standard crop is sugar cane.
- Crop Item Conversion: in this section all Items originated from the registered crop are associated;
- Item: mandatory field. Represents the Item that is originated from the registered crop. The registration is performed on page Item (ADM0034);
- Unit of Measure: mandatory field. Represents the unit of measure of the Item selected previously. The registration is performed on page Unidade de Medida (ADM0006);
- Factor: mandatory field. Represents the factor to convert the Unit of Measure of the selected Item to the Unit of Measure of the Crop;
- Variety Technical Data:
- Description: mandatory field. Retrieves the values Days to Emergence, Super Bag Weight, TWG, Germination Power, Population, Seed per Bags (system default values);
- Order: mandatory field. Represents the order in which the technical data records will be made available ;
- Mandatory represents whether the record will be mandatory or not;
- Click the Save button to save the registration.
This tab will be enabled only when the Characteristic field available in the Informações Básicas tab is filled with the Perennial or Semi-Perennial value.
- Access the Crop Stages tab;
- Click on Add ;
- Fill in the fields:
- Crop;
- Code;
- Description ;
- Abbreviation;
- Color;
- Harvest No.: represents which harvest (harvest number) is associated with the registered Crop Stage;
- Cultural Cycle: represents the cultural cycle that is associated with the registered Crop Stage (Year, Year and a Half, Formation or Ratoon). The registration is performed on page Ciclo Cultural (AGR0036);
- Mark Planting: by checking this field, when a Transição de Cultura (AGR0189) is performed for a plot that has the respective crop, a record will be included in the Crop tab of the Plot registration Local - (AGR0023) with the Mark Planting option checked;
- Mark Planting without History: by checking this field, when a Transição de Cultura (AGR0189) is performed for a plot that has the respective crop, a record will be included in the Crop tab of the Plot registration Local - (AGR0023) with the Planting without History option checked;
- Click the Save button to save the registration.
This tab will be enabled only when the Characteristic field available in the Informações Básicas tab is filled with the Perennial or Semi-Perennial value.
- Access the Stage Transition tab;
- Click on Add ;
- Fill in the fields:
- Crop:field automatically filled based on the selected crop;
- Crop Stage: represents the initial stage of the crop;
- Transition with Harvest: represents the crop stage when its transition occurs from a Harvest Work Order;
- Transition without Harvest: represents the crop stage when its transition occurs from page Transição de Cultura (AGR0189);
- Click the Save button to save the registration.
