Automatic Change of Crop Status
The crop status of a location refers to the moment in the agricultural process that the area assigned to a crop is in. These statuses are associated with an agricultural location in the Crop tab of the AGR0023 screen.
They are updated as processes occur in the system, such as work orders on the AGR0090 screen, estimate entries on AGR0058, and weighings BAL0105.
Check possible statuses of an area
- Reserved for crop: is the initial status of the location when assigning it to a crop with the planting selection field marked as Yes. This status means that the location is ready to receive a work order of the type: Soil preparation, planting and crop treatments. When the location is assigned to the crop with the planting selection field marked as No, its initial status will be Growing crop.
- In planting: when a work order of type “Planting” is opened for a location, its status is updated to In planting;
- Growing crop : once the planting is completed through the entry of a work order of type Planting, and the active selection field of Planting completed, the status will be updated to Growing crop. In addition, when the location is assigned to the crop with the planting selection field marked as No, its initial status will be Growing crop.
- Expected for harvest : when an estimate entry (AGR0058) is made for the area, its status is updated to Expected for Harvest. At this moment, the location is ready to start the harvest and, thus, the opening of work orders of the type: Harvest and Crop Treatments will be allowed.
- Released for harvest : as soon as a work order of type Harvest is opened for the location, its status is updated to Released for harvest. From this status it is possible to start the weighing process on the (BAL0105) screen.
- In harvest process : from the moment a weighing linked to a harvest work order is completed on the (BAL0105) screen, it will have its status updated to In harvest process. This status will remain until the closure of the harvest type work order.
- Partial harvest : when closing the work order of type Harvest and the sum of the areas of the work logs performed in this work order is less than the total area of the location assigned to the crop, on the (AGR0023) screen, then the status will be updated to Partial harvest. In this status it is possible to open another work order of type harvest with the remaining area, since the total area of the location has not been serviced.
- Closed : the status is changed to Closed when there is no more balance to harvest for the crop assigned in that location. That is, the location is closed when the entirety of the area has been harvested.
