ADM0012 - Production Unit
This screen aims to register the units belonging to each hub previously registered on the ADM0011 - Polo screen. This registration will be used on the AGR0023 - Local screen, to start the registration of the Org. Unit Structure.
The Production Unit is an administrative unit that can have only one Org. Unit Tree and more than one branch associated (these branches cannot be linked to another Production Unit). The association of the branch to the Production Unit depends on factors such as sharing of scales and the way exchanges of agricultural inputs occur between them. This validation is not performed by the SimpleFarm system, but by the consultant with the client, during the definition of the registration in the implementation.
What can you do?
Initial Registration
To register a production unit access - SimpleFarm > Administration Menu > Administrative Structures > Production Unit and then:

The Branches section aims to create the link of the production unit with the branches registered on the ADM0010 - Empresa screen, and make available only the branches that have not yet been linked to another company.
In the Parameters Tab it is possible to parameterize some behaviors of the SimpleFarm system by Production Unit. To parameterize by production unit access SimpleFarm > Administration Menu > Administrative Structures > Production Unit and then:
-
Fill in the Basic Information tab, where the logo of the Production Unit is parameterized, which will appear in the standard reports of the SimpleFarm system. Below are some guidelines on filling in this tab:
-
Dimension Division: it is a level of detail within the location registration, allowing subdivisions (for example, within a plot). If this dimension is used by the company, the Activate the use of division field must be checked in the Org. Unit Registration during the linking process between crops. After checking, the field is released to name it according to the client’s needs.
-
Seed Category: to use a seed category, the Control seed category parameter must be active. This parameter is essential for seed producers who need to precisely control the varieties and categories cultivated in the plots. It has two functions: Enable the Category field in the opening of all types of WO and make mandatory the filling of the Variety field in the harvest type WO.
-
-
Fill in the Work Order tab, where are the parameters that affect the behaviors of the work orders (AGR0090 - Painel Gráfico da Ordem de Serviço). There is some information about filling in this tab, which will be exposed below:
-
The parameterization of the Start Forecast and End Forecast fields will affect the AGR0090 - Painel Gráfico da Ordem de Serviço screen when creating a service order. When activating the parameter on the ADM0012 - Unidade Produtora screen and configuring the expected quantity for the start and end days, the dates will be filled according to the parameterization. However, if the parameter is not activated, the start and end forecast dates will be equal to the service order opening date.
-
Automatic closure days: parameterizes how many days after opening a service order it will automatically close.
-
Generate Entry When Closing a Service Order: when activating this rule, the types of service orders are parameterized, and if there are no entries when closing them, an entry is automatically generated, applying the total area available for the locations in the service order, which will come as closed. Subsequently, the service order will be closed.
-
Close Open Entries When Closing a Service Order: when activating this rule, the types of service orders are parameterized, and when closing it, if there are open entries for it, they will be automatically closed.
-
Mandatory Team in Service Order: when activating this rule, filling in the Team field becomes mandatory for opening a service order.
-
Products with Available Balance in Stock: when activating this rule, product inclusion in a service order will only occur if there is availability in stock. When deactivated, this validation will not occur, making it possible to include a product in the service order even if there is no availability in stock.
-
Mandatory Active Ingredient in Service Order: when activating this rule, product inclusion in a service order will only occur if there is an active ingredient registration for the item on screen ADM0034 – Tab Item.
-
Enable use of standard crop spacing: when activating this parameter, when opening a Planting Service Order on screen AGR0090 - Painel Gráfico da Ordem de Serviço, the system makes it mandatory to link a standard spacing in the crop registration being informed, this link is made on screen AGR0035 - Cultura,When the parameter is Active, if there is no spacing link with the crop at the time of informing it in the Service Order, the system will display a warning preventing the process sequence until the registration is adjusted. If the parameter is Active and there is a spacing link with the crop when opening the Planting Service Order, the system will automatically fill in the Spacing field on screen AGR0090 - Painel Gráfico da Ordem de Serviço,with the information linked to the crop. If it is Deactivated when opening the Planting Service Order, the system will display all spacings registered on screen AGR0040 - Espaçamento, so that the user can define which one to use.
-
Block Changing the Opening Date of Service Orders with Work Log: when activating this rule on screen ADM0012 - Unidade Produtora, the opening date of the Service Order with work log will be locked for editing. If there is no work log performed, the opening date can be changed. After activating the parameter, it is possible to create a service order and edit its opening date without limitations at the time of creation.
-
Enable Link Between Stock Locations (From/To): when activating this parameter, the following fields are enabled: [From: Physical Stock, To: Virtual Stock], [From: Virtual Stock, To: Physical Stock], [From: Physical Stock, To: Physical Stock] and [From: Virtual Stock, To: Virtual Stock]. When selected, these fields will enable the functionality of performing product transfer between stock locations (only for products linked to Service Orders), and will control the allowed direction between these movements (From/To selected). If this parameter is deactivated, the previously mentioned fields will be unavailable.
-
Type of Movement Between Stocks: when activating this parameter, it will present the options: Link Between Stocks and Transfer Between Stocks. This parameter should only be activated when the parameter Enable Movement Between Stock Locations [From/To] is selected, and by default the option Link Between Stocks will be filled in.
-
In the Application Factor item, the marker Enable Application Factor function (%): is one of the prerequisites to activate the new behaviors of the Resources tab in the Service Order Opening and in the Service Order Entry. When activating the parameter, an Application factor limit field will be released that will allow the user to establish a maximum percentage (from 1 to 100) of increase for the Product type resource in the S.O.In addition, to complement the functionality, it will enable the option to activate a justification when using the application factor.
-
Parameter:
- Marker Permission for Closing, Reopening and Cancellation of WO by User : by default, the field is inactive. When activated, on the AGR0090 screen, only the user who has the proper permission will be able to perform the closing and reopening of WOs belonging to the respective Production Unit.
-
-
Fill in the Scale tab: this parameterization adjusts production control to operations that do not follow the conventional calendar of 00:00 to 23:59, accurately reflecting the operational shifts of the scale specifically.
- Production start time: will allow the configuration of the time that marks the beginning of the daily production cycle, defining the production day turnover. Example: if the configured time is 07:00 (7 AM), all production records between 07:00 of one day until 06:59 of the next day will be grouped under the same production date. Consequently, any production recorded before the defined time (ex: until 06:59) will be considered as belonging to the previous production day.
-
Fill in the Planning tab: when activating this parameter the production unit will be available for the planning module, on the PLA0620 - Culturas Anuais and PLA0610 - Culturas Perenes screens.
