ADM0041 - Operation

This screen aims to register agricultural operations to be assigned to a process tree. This information can be registered in the system manually, or via Excel spreadsheet by applying the Import feature.

What can you do?

Initial Registration

Learn about the types of operations for registration

Operations are routine activities on the property. They are:

Productive Operations: those that are directly linked to the production of “products and services” to be sold. They include activities such as: transformation of raw materials into finished products, assembly, and any other activity that directly contributes to the creation of the final product.

Unproductive Operations : are activities that do not directly contribute to the production of the final product, but are necessary for the operation of the company (e.g.: machine maintenance, equipment setup, administrative activities, cleaning, etc.). These operations are essential to keep the company running efficiently, but do not add direct value to the final product.

Important

Agricultural operations configured as Productive will result in cost per hectare (R$/ha) when associated with a plot. Unproductive operations will be directed to equipment reports (e.g.: stop for refueling). The same work order cannot include two planting operations marked as Planting Entry (but will allow when only one of them is marked), the same principle applies to harvest entries. When the operation is of the Unproductive type it will have the efficiency parameterization (lost, maintenance and auxiliary), and classification (administrative, climatic, machine, operator and operation). The same productive operation can be linked to more than one operation group in the Process Tree, allowing the addition (through the Work Order) of more than one unit of measurement.

Register operation

To perform the registration access - SimpleFarm > Administration Menu > Operations > Operation > Basic Information and then:

  1. Enter a Code: mandatory field. The code must be unique among operations;
  2. Enter an Abbreviation : mandatory field. The abbreviation must be unique among operations;
  3. Enter a Description : mandatory field. The description must be unique among operations;
  4. Check the Active field : so that it is possible to use the operation in the process tree;
  5. Check in the Type field : whether the operation will be Productive or Unproductive;
  6. Click Save.

Important:

This registration is used (if it is of the “Productive” type) on the ADM0043 - Árvore de Processo screen; and (if it is of the “Unproductive” type) it is used in the motorization submodule.

Still in the Basic Information tab, some checkable fields can be seen that will be activated at specific moments, such as:

  • Agricultural inputs application: should be activated if there is a need to include agricultural inputs in the Work Order for the operation. If not activated, it will not be possible to include agricultural inputs in the Work Order. The marker will enable the Application factor (%) marker in the Resources tab in the Work Order Opening and in the Work Order Entry.

  • Planting Entry: should be activated in “planting” type operations, if there is a need for the areas logged in this operation to be counted as planted areas.

  • Harvest Area Entry: should be activated if there is a need for the areas logged in this operation to be counted as harvested areas.

  • Irrigation Entry: should be activated if there is a need for the areas logged in this operation to receive the logged information about the irrigated volume.

  • Informs the mixture type : by default it should be disabled. When active, the system should provide a field for the user to select the mixture type in the Add resources modal, on the resources tab of the Ordem de serviço. This parameter will only be available for activation when another parameter, Esconder a guia Informações de Aplicação - ADM0088, is disabled, because when the mixture type Ready spray is selected, the user will inform the flow rate.

  • Mechanized: should be activated if there is a need for mechanized operations to be available in the daily report of mechanization (AGR0400 - Informe Diário).

  • Linear operation: should be activated if the operation works in “lines” to account for production.

  • Uses Implement: should be activated when the operation relies on an implement to assist execution, so filling in the implement fields in the mechanization daily report log will be mandatory.

Link unit of measure to a payment table

When saving the operation registration, the Unit of Log x Price Table tab will be available; information can be added there to link a unit of measure to a payment table. To perform the process:

  1. Insert an Operation;
  2. Insert the Operation Unit of Measure code;
  3. Insert the Payment Table code;
  4. Click Save.
